Do  enjoy a Gondola Ride, Do see the Doge Palace, Do visit St. Marks Square and Basillica, Do visit the Jewish Ghetto, Do walk all over the place, Do eat at the locals fav places, Do tell the annoying vendors to take their squashy balls and glow in the dark sticks to get out of your face.  Do Smile A lot!  The Italians love to see Happy Faces.  Do learn to say hello, good morning, good evening, good bye and other simple phrases.  Venetians were very helpful
