Wow, the school year is over. My summer is coming together nicely. I guess I should up date this site more often. However, it will go without saying that my life is definitely on an upswing. I smile a lot and that is mainly because there is little to no drama in my life. I had to give up my chickens and Abigail, last Thursday. They were being attacked by a Fox, on an almost daily basis and I went from 12 to 4 since February. My sister took them and they are safe and sound. I know I felt miserable and cried but not for as long as I think I should. I think I was getting tired of the routine and the burden and yes....feeding them to a fox!
I managed to get through Christmas holiday and the New Year's sane, I think. At least level headed. Alone, but I felt good about it. Then I met this amazing guy and we are still doing okay. Ha. Still plenty of time to screw it up, although I will try not to.
We are headed to Italy soon and I am planning to use this site to post our memories. It will truly be an awesome trip. We will visit Venice, Rome, Lake Garda, then Bologna and then my brother in Vencenzia. I will be alone until the 21st of July to do day trips around Italy. I am really looking forward to that.
Well, I'll catch up here on little trips I've taken and things I've enjoyed doing.
Oh, I wrote about the tick bite. Well, that caused an inflammation at the Left breast implant which encapsulated and had to be revised in February. So far everything seems okay and I am scheduled for the final surgery on August 30. Ready for this Cancer thing to be a thing of the past.
The PTSD is okay. I don't get nervous or panicky as badly as I did before and it's probably just best to compartmentalize that and push it under the bed.
I had a great group of students this year and I look forward to getting back to work in September. I do love what I do.
